HGF is a family run farm located in the beautiful village of Pakenham, Ont. Our property has been in the family for over 100 years and has raised hundreds of cattle, pigs, chickens and sheep. We also have extensive vegetable gardens, honey bees and we do our own maple syrup yearly! We are a working farm that is also raising a small herd of Hanoverian horses from foals to show horses- a life long passion and hobby of rider Kaitlyn Dalcourt.

Our herd live together on 74 acres of pasture where they learn the ropes of the gully from our matriarch mares. There is a definite hierarchy in our group and everyone knows their place. For the most part our mares teach the horses their ground manners from a very young age. When it's time for training the horses are quiet and open to learn the tricks of the trade.

We understand the time and patience it takes to raise warmblood horses. They are allowed to develop and grow at their individual pace while having access to pasture, free choice salt/mineral and  our home grown hay mixture.

Our secret to well rounded animals is our gully. A picturesque place to live for a band of horses . Constant access to fresh running water, a place to splash and cool off, their very own apple tree and hills to walk up and down for an overall body workout. We feel this makes for a sound mind and and quiet demeanor.

Hidden Gully Farms is a true home to our horses. We give them a natural start to life that allows them to have a long enjoyable riding career with a rider of their very own. Once an HGF horse chooses you the meaning of an unbreakable bond is so very clear.
